Navigating Difficult Conversations as a Manager

Conflict is normal in the workplace, where people with different values, goals, and perspectives manage complex and stress-provoking work and situations. In this webinar we will learn communication techniques you can use when there is conflict and difficult conversations with employees or co-workers. You can learn how to transition a potentially negative situation to one that allows us to entertain new possibilities with the right communication skills. We will also look at techniques that can help us better communicate and get our point across as well as help reduce tensions or hostilities in others, so that we can get to a positive outcome with lasting affirmative results. We will also look at how to say “No” to something without jeopardizing your credibility, and how to portray yourself in a positive light in any interaction. This webinar will cover different techniques you can use to be assertive but diplomatic when needed, as well as how to win over others to your ideas, and effective ways to best deliver your message. We will also touch on how to make conversation easier for others when tensions are high.
